Amanda Watts

Amanda Watts swapped the coastal waters of WA for the routes of the Blue Mountains several years ago, and now her climbing is reaping the benefits of obsession and dedication. A regular climbing partner to the Cosseys, Amanda has been among the top female Australian climbers for the past six years. She has also spent a large amount of time developing junior climbers, being involved with the Blue Mountains Cliffcare organization and getting the plans for the 2009 Australian Climbing Festival underway.

Now that Amanda has an undergraduate degree under her belt (this girl has energy), she can dedicate more time and resources to her passion. With trips to Europe, Yosemite and Patagonia planned for the next two years, Amanda has set herself some challenging goals.
