Sea to Summit 2008 Retailer of the Year Awards

In recognition of the commitment, dedication and passion that pervades the Australian outdoor industry - and after much deliberation of many worthy candidates - Sea to Summit has nominated four retailers that embody these principles.

The 2008 Sea to Summit Retailer of the Year winners are:

  • Overall Winner 2008 – Paddy Pallin, nationwide.
In recognition of quality of service, staff passion and commitment to the environment.
  • Independent Store 2008 – K2 Basecamp, Brisbane, and Scout Outdoor Centre, Adelaide (shared).
In recognition of quality of service, staff passion and range of product.
  • Regional Store 2008 – Snowgum, Wodonga.
In recognition of quality of service, staff passion and range of product.

With many Australian outdoor retailers operating at a world-class level, it has been hard to select only a small number of winners. However it will always be the customer who has the most important vote – by choosing where (and how) they spend their hard-earned cash.

As 2009 approaches, bringing with it the challenges of an unstable world economy, the Sea to Summit team would like to thank all our customers and outdoor retailers for their continued support.
